Suno Lyrics Formatter

Paste plain lyrics and this tool cleans them up and adds Suno section tags. Repeated stanzas become choruses, and the rest become numbered verses. Your lyrics stay in your browser and are never uploaded.

Formatted lyrics

What the formatter does

  • Finds choruses: any stanza that appears more than once is tagged [Chorus].
  • Numbers verses: every other stanza becomes [Verse 1], [Verse 2] and so on.
  • Cleans up: it can remove chord lines and timestamps, and it replaces old section labels with fresh tags.
  • Counts length: it shows words and characters so you can spot lyrics that may get rushed or cut off.

How to get the best result

Leave a blank line between sections, because that is how the tool tells them apart. A chorus is only detected when the words repeat, so paste it each time it is sung. Afterwards you can rename a tag by hand, for example changing a verse to [Bridge]. For a song of 2 to 4 minutes, 150 to 300 words is a good range.
